The actor of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon serial, Abhaas Mehta says his becoming an actor was a co-incidence for him. The actor of the small screen was more interested towards sports, but things changed when he joined the Law College in Pune. Abhaas College was near the Film and Television Institute of India.
So, he came in contact with the students of the Film Institute who later became his friends. He said: “It is under their influence that I was attracted to theater and acting. So this took me to acting and later I joined Anupam Kher’s acting school that helped me a lot in my acting skills”.
