Why I’ve Picked this choice – Hoyte has been nominated for his work on Dunkirk, we all know by now how much I loved Dunkirk, the shots were perfect and this is down to this man. This is his first nomination, but looking for the credits to his name, you could have seen many more to his name, Interstellar, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Fighter, Her and Let the Right One In showing us he has worked with some of the best directors in the business and while he is going up against one of the icons of his field in Roger Deakins, you couldn’t hold anything against Hoyte if he went on to win it for Dunkirk.
