A Temporary Farewell to Whisky Jewbilee, and a BIG Shalom to Kiddushfest!

By Boozedancing @boozedancing

When it comes to Whisky Jewbilee, 2018 was both the best of times and the worst of times...

It was the best of times because I had the opportunity to attend the New York City Whisky Jewbilee AND the Chicago Whisky Jewbilee...

And it was the worst of times because Single Cask Nation, the creators and organizers of Whisky Jewbilee, have decided to take some time off from Fabulous Whisky Event show running to focus their attention on the Single Cask Whisky bottling side of their business.

I'm not gonna lie to you, we were heartbroken when they sprung that bit of news on us which made an already bleak winter even bleaker. With no late June (Jewn?) whisky event on the calendar to look forward to, January, February, and the first half of March were longer and slower moving than usual, but then, just four days before the first day of Spring, a heaping portion of good news from our dear friend Susannah landed in our inbox...

Ari White, owner of The Wandering Que and creator of all the fine kosher BBQ vittles ( his brisket is to die for!) that have been served at each and every NYC Whisky Jewbilee, has taken the whisky barrel by the bung and launched Kiddushfest, a Whisky, Beer, and BBQ event that will take place on Wednesday, June 19th in Lower Manhattan. Needless to say, we were super thrilled by this news and immediately marked our calendars!

If you're just as excited as we are about this event, keep reading to find out how you can attend. Below is an email from Joshua Hatton and Jason Johnstone-Yellin of Single Cask Nation that gives you more information about what we're sure will be an outstanding event, along with a discount code that will save you 15% off of the admission price. We hope to see you there!

Just because Whisky Jewbilee is currently on hiatus, that doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy another kosher food, whisky, and beer festival! Our catering partners since the inception of Whisky Jewbilee in 2012, Ari and Gemma White of The Wandering Que, are putting on their very own event and we're proud to support them both by offering you a special discount on tickets as well as having a Single Cask Nation table at the event!KiddushFest is sure to be a great time and we're happy to offer you the deepest discount available: 15% off tickets!
