The rise of “coutourism” as I like to call it – the act of living and breathing couture fashion – has also bubbled over into bridal fashion. Bridal couture brings back the ‘grand’ to the wedding gown: Balloon dresses, Fishtail dresses, fairy tale dresses. Yes. The dresses our mothers {and maybe grandmothers} wore during their weddings. And they don’t hold back of the glitz and glam. There was a period when wedding dresses were a bit “watered down.” Not anymore! They’re back to being a one-dress-production.
don’t forget the secret sauce
Let’s not forget the gravy {or secret sauce} – wedding accessories. They are the finishing touches that can make or break the perfect gown. The models here are wearing hair accessories to compliment the wedding gowns. These accessories include underwear and petticoats as well as wedding tiaras and headbands. Subtle but stunning headpiece being most favorable among the new age brides.
