All I can think is that the media are not reporting this story correctly, because I can't believe the Coast Guard has so quickly called off a search for four sailors who seem adrift in a dinghy off the New Jersey coast. According to the news reports, the sailors radioed this morning before dawn that their 33-foot sailboat Courtney Lynn was sinking and they were abandoning ship into their dinghy. But by 1:40 PM the Coast Guard suspended its search.
