A Fashion Disaster For One Proves To Be A Fashion Forte For Another

In the world of the A-list, camera flashing and fashion criticism is to be expected. This criticism often comes from both the fashionistas who claim to be experts and the Plain Jane’s who pride themselves on a more ambivalent attitude towards the fashion world

Regardless of the event in question, fashion followers nationwide will always have an opinion on celebrities who choose to wear the same outfit. This is especially the case when the dress is so daring that it deserves its own stage.

Double takes in celebrity land often make for a fashion faux pas and as such, being spotted in the same dress as one of your pap-worthy friends is the ultimate fashion crime.

Kim Kardashian is known for her envious curves, which were enhanced even more so when she stepped out in a statement Tom Ford indispensable. The coveted backless number, complete with zipper embellishment allowed the stylish star to look every inch the celebrity.

The reality TV star and entrepreneur showed off a glowing complexion, which perfectly complimented the white hue of the gown. She wasn’t, however, the only individual to be spotted wearing such a number.

Jennifer Laurence opted for a similar gown in a sleek black shade and chose to team it with a pair of uber high party shoes. Although the gold of the shoes complimented the hue of the zipper trim perfectly, the dress didn’t hold as much impact as Kardashians.

The Hunger Games star wore this ensemble to the recent Paris premiere, opting for a more dramatic styling with ultra red lips and poker straight locks.

The provocative gown is part of Tom Ford’s exclusive collection, which was officially unveiled at the end of March this year. The decision to wear something by a designer as exclusive as Tom Ford is most certainly respected by the fashion elite. The infamous supermodel Kate Moss originally modelled this particular dress, showcasing the much-hyped creation in an editorial shot by Terry Richardson for Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.

With curves like Kim’s, such a risky outfit option may have been considered a little on the precarious side. Luckily her toned back was complimented by a more demure high neck and although both stars are equally attractive, Kim’s natural make-up, delicate sandals and olive skin won the battle in this particular style stake.

Lawrence’s red siren lips almost looked too much when teamed with such a perilous frock and mean that whilst one of these celeb was on form, the other was lagging behind with a fashion disaster.
