A Celebration of Food, Diverse Culture & Friendship at Mercato Centrale BGC

What's That? Indian Food Festival. Where's That? BGC, Taguig City.

The Embassy of India in Manila is celebrating 70 years of India-Philippines friendship. As part of the celebration, the Embassy is hosting a "FESTIVAL OF INDIA" starting this month. One of the events is an Indian Food Festival, a collaboration with India Tourism Office, (Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India), Royal Indian Curry House, Filipino Indian Commerce and Welfare Society, Mercato Centrale, and Zomato Philippines.

The 2019 Indian Food Festival was held on January 27 at BGC, Taguig City. Two of our FoodieViewsPH friends - Suzie & Ayen - were able to attend the one-day festival and tried cuisines from across India, checked an array of native Indian handicrafts as well as witnessed awesome cultural performances.

Oh, popular DJ, host, and TV personality Sam YG was there, too!
