Hello Freckles 5 From This Month July Favourites
It's that time again...I've done a lot this month and it wasn't until I sat down to write this, that I realised just how much I've packed into the past four weeks. From multiple cinema trips, to visiting London and having time off work to relax, I've been keeping busy!

Let's start with that Lush bottle, which is one of the few things I picked up in Lush, Oxford Street. It smells so good, but I won't say too much since there'll no doubt be a full post about what I bought. If you're in London, definitely visit Lush - it's three floors of shower, bath and body fun!

It was lovely to spend a few days in London, get a change of scenery and put things into perspective. Of course, a visit Cowshed spa and a (few) glasses of rosé from a rooftop bar weren't bad either...

This month I tried my first Barre class and I really enjoyed it. I spoke about it in more detail here, but I'm hoping I'll be back soon. Whilst we're talking about fitness and trying something new, I got back into spinning this month and tried out a stability ball class (with one of those inflatable balls). Who knew it could be so hard to plank or do press ups on a ball! I'm trying to form a better gym routine too and luckily since my sister knows her way around all the machines and what works which muscle groups, I've almost got my own personal trainer too!

Visiting Bowes Museum for the YSL: Style Is Eternal exhibition is a huge highlight from this month, if not a big highlight for my blog this year. I was delighted to attend the press preview and to share that with my Mam was great. I've shared photos from the exhibition in this post, if you're interested in finding out a bit more.

I could've picked any film I've seen lately, but I really want to talk about Southpaw. Jake Gyllenhaal is incredible, the way he can take on a role and make you completely believe him - just take Nightcrawler for example, I didn't like his character at all, but that's because I saw him as Louis Bloom and I'd completely bought into who he was portraying. What I'm trying to say, in some rambly way, is go see Southpaw. It's so much more than a boxing film, like he said in an interview, it's about redemption.

Last weekend saw the Sunderland International Airshow bring an array of planes to the skies. Since last year I decided that I'll go every year, even if I just see the Red Arrows. We always used to go when Lucy and I were younger, so hopefully now we can stick to the tradition again.

Other things this month include: looking back on where I've come a year since graduation - turns out I've done alright, this kimono, having lobster at Longhorns, catching a good song on the radio on the way to work, rediscovering fragrances at Fenwick, trying something new and realising I can do anything if I put my mind to it - whether that's parallel parking or adding more weight on the leg press in the gym.

What's stood out for you this month?
