Its one of my favorite times of year in the town of Seaside, Florida! The Seeing Red Wine Festival is always a sell-out event, and this year will be no exception!
Reds, whites, and rosés will be uncorked during the festival, four days of wine and culinary events being held Nov. 8 – 11, 2018. Now in its 28th year and recognized as one of the “Top 10 Can’t-Miss Fall Wine Festivals” by Fodor’s Travel, the festival draws attendees from around the world who make the trip to the iconic beach town a yearly tradition.
If you have been following along on my 30A Eats Instagram and Facebook pages then you will have seen my posts about Chef Zachary Keaton of Pizza Bar headlining the Gulf Coast to Table VIP dinner with Chef Jim Shirley! I also wrote about Chef Zach for The Seaside Times here. That event has already sold out!
Weekend guests will enjoy sipping on delicious wines, and tasting unique and delectable food pairings. Wine aficionados and foodies will savor carefully selected Gulf Coast dishes from Seaside’s famous restaurants while sipping beautifully-paired, quality-curated wines from around the globe. This year, the festival will also feature a VIP experience in Ruskin Place.
“Our goal each year is to make the event better than ever ,” says Kevin Boyle, Seaside Events Director. “This year, we’re excited to bring back our retail tent, making it easier for our festival-goers to purchase the wines they loved. We’re also going to feature more than 120 wines, paired with culinary selections from our award winning restaurants.”

Guests can take shuttles to and from Seaside for the event. The Seeing Red Wine Festival is offering complimentary shuttles to all guests at the new County Public Lot on CR 283 in Grayton Beach. Shuttles will run continuously allowing guests the opportunity to arrive early, stroll through Seaside and stay late for dinner following the event.
