215: How to Talk About Famous Places of Historical Interest in Mandarin Chinese

China is a fascinating country to both foreigners and locals. There are so many famous places of historical interest to see and visit—all spread out throughout this huge country. It takes some considerable time to get around and see all of the attractions, unless you spend a few months traveling from region to region. Something to do on your next holiday perhaps after you’ve learned to speak better Mandarin Chinese, perhaps?

In this Podcast, you will learn:

That’s right. I’ve been to the north and south of the Yangtze River.


A: Kuài gēn wǒ men shuō shuō, dōu qù nǎ wán le?

Hurry up and tell us where you visited.


B: Cháng chéng, gù gōng, qín shǐ huáng bīng mǎ yǒng, xī hú, lí jiāng, huáng shān, zhāng jiā jiè, jiǔ zhài gōu, hái yǒu……

Did you go to Tibet?


B: Qù la, bù dá lā gōng zhēn de hěn zhuàng guān!
