Shravan or Sawan is considered the holy month in India. Every Indian state celebrates this auspicious month in its own traditional way with fairs and festivals. Along with this monsoon festivals there are also others like Nag panchami, teej, Janmashtmi, and Raksha Bandhan.  All Mondays of Shravan month is devoted to worship Shiva god and Shravan Somvar Vrat is observed.
