The first-of-its-kind session with the concept of Bitcoin as future currency of the world
Zebpay, India’s first and World’s simplest mobile Bitcoin Wallet has announced the launch of Bitcoin India Alliance, an alliance of all Bitcoin companies in India. The alliance will work to spread Bitcoin awareness and adoption in India. It will also be the body to represent Indian Bitcoin industry to government and other associations.
This was a first-of-its-kind meet with an audience of over 400 people comprising Top Industry leaders of Ahmedabad, FICCI, Senior chamber members and Top Business School students. The event’s purpose was to educate and spread awareness of bitcoins among industrialists, techies, students and general public. The event was sponsored and attended by all leading Indian bitcoin companies like iGot, CoinSecure, CoinTelegraph India and Blockstreet.
Mrs. Anar Patel, daughter of Gujarat Chief Minister’s was among the eminent panelists who greeted the occasion with her support to the bitcoin community and help make Ahmedabad the hub of bitcoin innovation in the country.
Mr Nishith Desai founder of Nishith Desai Associates, India’s leading law firm with customers like Vodafone India, Infosys and Flipkart released a whitepaper on Indian Legal and Tax Considerations on Bitcoins. He also gave a talk and said that contrary to popular belief Bitcoins is Legal in India.

They can also buy Flipkart & Amazon vouchers at 10% off. For First Time Farhan Akhtar Live in concert tickets were sold through the app.The company will soon be coming with a list of India’s first merchants who will accept bitcoins. This will include a real estate company, a chain of restaurants, coffee shops and more. Users will also be able to buy mobile airtime.
