About
Don’t let their name throw you off, Young Man is no group of amateurs. The Chicago-based band, led by vocalist Colin Caulfield, clicks on every level — with guitar and percussion leading the way, they craft gorgeous melodies and fit each piece of the puzzle together in a way few can. Earlier this year, they joined us at Brooklyn recording studio Degraw Sound for a Buzzsession where they performed “In a Sense”, “Josie”, and “It’s Alright”, all of which you can watch below. Download the recordings for free below the videos.
‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs. This Buzzsession was shot at Degraw Sound, a Brooklyn recording studio on the Park Slope/Gowanus border, owned and operated by producer/engineer/musician Ben Rice (Blackbells, The Mooney Suzuki).
