Yogurt Based Ice Cream

Yummy homemade frozen yogurt style ice cream with chocolate chips and strawberry or chocolate sauce.

Ingredients
475ml Light Double Cream
600ml low fat greek style yogurt
1/2 tsp vanilla
100g caster sugar
100g finely chopped chocolate
4 choc chip cookies finely chopped
Chocolate or strawberry sauce

Add cream and sugar to mixing bowl

Whisk on medium speed until thick

Pour in the yogurt and vanilla and beat for about a minute

Add chocolate

Mix well with a spoon

In tubs add small amounts of the cream mixture and then squirt some sauce for added flavour

I used chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce

Repeat the layers of cream and sauce, then place in the freezer for at least 6-8 hours before serving

Once frozen, serve!
