The Xiaomi Redmi Note flaunts a Full HD. 5.5-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen display, which produces a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels at 267 pixels per inch. This multi-touch display produces up to 16M colors.
On the other hand, the Asus Zenfone 5 sports a comparatively smaller, 5-inch IPS capacitive touch screen display, which also produces Full HD resolution at a better pixel density rate of 294 ppi. Also, it features Corning Gorilla Glass protection, which is not present on the Redmi Note.
Processor & RAM
The Redmi Note is powered by a 1.7GHz Mediatek MT6592 Cortex-A7 Octa-Core Processor, which is supported by 1GB RAM and Mali-450MP4 GPU. Whereas, the Asus Zenfone 5 is powered by an Intel Atom Z2560 Dual-Core Processor clocked at 1.6GHz, and supported by 2GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU.

Verdict

In this comparison review, we found that the Xiaomi Redmi Note is a far better smartphone in terms of hardware specification, when compared to the Asus Zenfone 5. The only areas where the Xiaomi Redmi Note lags are the customer service support and brand reputation. However, the Chinese manufacturers are working very hard to overcome these issues.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note features a better display, processor, camera and a stronger battery. Also, it is expected to arrive at a cheaper price tag, as compared to its rival. Hence, the Redmi Note is declared a winner in this comparison review.
