Xiaomi today has launched a new range of smartphone in India that comes with stock Android. The company also introduced a new smartphone called Mi A1. The new Mi A1 comes with a dual rear camera, full metal body design, and comes n Black, Rose Gold, and Gold Color variants.
Mi A1 Specifications
The Mi A1 is a variant of the Mi 5X that was recently launched in China. The Mi A1 has a 5.5″ Full HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and is powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, the same processor that powers the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 along with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

The Mi A1 comes with a dual camera setup and has two 12 MP camera with one sensor being a wide angle camera and the other one being a telephoto lens offering 2X optical and 10X digital zoom. The dual-rear camera allows ‘Bokeh’ DSLR-style pictures. The Mi A1 comes with USB Type C for connectivity and charging and the phone is powered by a 3080 mAH battery.
Xiaomi A1 Running Android One | Credits Xiaomi
Xiaomi along with Google is offering the Mi A1 with stock android and carries forward the Android One, unlike its previous phones that came with its custom UI the MIUI. The A1 will, however, have some of the Xiaomi’s apps like the Camera app and the IR remote app.
Android One offers ‘lite’ version of stock android and the devices running Android one are the first in line to get software updates and security patch updates directly from Google. The A1 will get Android O update before the end of the year and one of the first to get Android P
