One of the latest releases onto the international market (but not yet here in Aus) is Maybelline New York’s Volum’ Express The Colossal Chaotic Lash Mascara.
This mascara has definitely got every beauty lover talking thanks to its very interesting marketing and display images. Obviously any ad for mascara never really shows how the mascara will work on ‘normal’ lashes as these ads are shot with false lashes as well as some involvement of Photoshop but this mascara ad is definitely different to any other I’ve seen.

When it comes to lashes, I love mascaras that are big and bold and that give both great length and volume, making my lashes look as best as they can without having the hassle of needing to wear false lashes.
Some might be quite scared of this mascara thanks to the ad images but I think that if you apply it just as you would any other mascara and not ‘sweep across to create lash chaos’ as Maybelline suggest, it looks like it could be great at delivering volume and length. If/when it arrives here in Australia, I’m definitely going to give it a go and see how it wears on my lashes!
