The number one restaurant on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, list is El Celler De Can Roca in Girona, Spain. This is a family run restaurant and is operated bt The Roca Brothers – Joan as head chef, Jordi as pastry chef and Josep as sommelier.

The brothers, evidently surprised to regain the title (2013), took to the stage and thanked their entire team who they say it would not be possible without. Josep spoke for the trio: “It would be nice if you could all have the opportunity to be up here one day. Thanks, you’re so generous, we thank our family, our wives and our team.”
