Wing Dam have been busy releasing not one, not two, but three albums this year — two EPs and a live recording. Damage and Waves To Shore are both available for free download on Bandcamp and have been creating quite a buzz online. Although self-described as deep fuzz/ocean pop (whatever that is, genres are getting so crazy), it’s difficult to categorize the sound, as Wing Dam seem to be experimenting and showing off a little, flaunting their ability to span genres. While Waves To Shore sounds a little psych-folky, the Dogwood EP is more about experimental electronics. Meanwhile, Damage sounds more post-punk with fuzzy, over-driven guitars. Wing Dam definitely has something for everyone, so make damn sure (pun intended) to check out the band on Facebook and give them a listen on Bandcamp!
