Happy Wine Wednesday! This past Friday I was out with my friends Ben and Bridget at one of my favorite wine bars; Swirl. I just so happen to be a member of their wine club and on Friday night’s they do complimentary tastings of of their wines of the week.
We bellied up to the bar area and enjoyed our tasting, with a variety of whites and reds but the PopCrush White really stood out to us. Just light, a tiny bit sweet and a wine made for easy drinking. Bridget and I both had the thought that it would be perfect out by the pool on a summer day (sigh, why does that seem so far away?). The three of us shared a bottle over dinner and it was lovely. Especially since it was COLD outside. Something about the occasional glass of white in winter can make it seem a bit more bearable.
They have both a red and white and retail for around $11-$13. Perfect for entertaining and I just so happened to love the label. Kudos to the graphic designer! They did a fantastic job.
