As a Marketing Manager in real life I am drawn to creative and interesting wine labels. It’s where my eyes immediately are drawn to and if I am deciding between two wines at a price point I tend to pick the one with the better label. I know, I know. You aren’t supposed to pick a wine solely by its label but when it is really well done I just can’t help it.
This happened to me again last week. I was looking for a bottle to bring to a friends house and had it narrowed down to two wines I know I like it. Both were big, bold and juicy reds. In the end I ended up picking my favorite label. I had tasted this wine before and remembered it just by the label. The power of a well designed label can go a long way!
The JaM California Red is around $16 (regular price) and the name and the label describe it perfectly. It is a beautiful bright red color with notes of berries and truly does remind me of jam. And I just so happen to love the label too!
