Continuing our trip to Lanesboro, we stopped at Four Daughters Winery on the way down. Located in Spring Valley, they are close to the city yet for a day trip. I had heard about how beautiful this winery was and words don’t do it justice. They have combined beautiful, lush vineyards with an inviting modern building and patio.
On a sunny summer day there isn’t a more perfect spot to be. Enjoying a lovely rose and flatbread. They offer at least 10 different wines (both whites and reds) from varietals like Brianna to Marquette to a sparkling Frontenac Gris and are even making cider now. Everything we tried was delicious but the rose was needed for sitting outside.
As August comes to an end I know cooler days are in our future so I want to soak up every single nice day.
