Wine Wednesday Albie Nebbiolo d’Alba

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

It was a snowy evening and I had comfy clothes on, the dogs were cuddled up on the couch, I was catching up on shows and drinking this beautiful big bold Nebbiolo.

An earthy red that is best decanted to let it open up. A nose that is filled with berries and spice and a wine that really is best enjoyed slowly. A true Italian wine, from the Piedmont area and it just so happens to be in the same region that Barolo is grown.

At $18 a bottle I would say it is a pretty good deal. With characteristics of Barolo but at a price I can afford. A really great pick from the night when you want to curl up by the fire and truly enjoy that glass of wine.
