Besides that Whatsapp calling feature, Windows Phone also has updated to send out voice files which is currently available on Windows Phone 8.1. The update WhatsApp version for Windows Phone is 2.12.60.0.
I was an android phone user. So, The Android user has received the voice-calling feature since March 2015 and iOS and Blackberry got their voice-calling updates in April. The voice-calling feature able to use over mobile data or Wi-Fi. It was an ample app that can be use if you are in emergency.
Whatsapp is really the best instant messaging as at today and it has pros and cons. We have to use it wisely and do not spread untrue news.
