Will You Know When It’s Too Much?

By Bren @Virtual_Bren

I must apologize for my lack of presence on our Facebook pages as well as blog posts so please let me explain.

I’ve been focusing on my other blog. I’m gearing up for a big challenge and I know it will take up more of my time. However, I must follow my passion. My passion for pit bulls and rescues.

I don’t know if you follow my other blog but my recent post sheds light on what I’m talking about To Grow The Family Or Not. Although I know it’s not feasible to grow my family as I’d like, what is feasible is for me to offer my services and try to help others.

I’m already scheduled to attend Orientation and Training for Tour Guide and Adoption Support this Saturday, at our local No-Kill

Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary
  • Not taking away my quality time with Titan and making sure he doesn’t feel threatened or neglected
  • Not over extending myself so much that I have a melt down
  • Being able to help the rescue as well as the animals
  • Not have my volunteering interfere with my full-time job
  • Keep the hubs from complaining about it
  • Being able to walk away at the end of the day without crying about the poor “throw aways” that no one wants
  • Keeping my sanity

Yet, I have to try. This is so truly my passion and I just can not ignore the “signs” that were put in front of me.

What does that mean for My Girly Parts?

I thought about giving it up. That’s right, just eliminated the blog. A good friend of mine talked me into keeping it going.

I thought about adding Contributors. Not just Featured Guests but Contributors that would post on My Girly Parts on a regular basis.

I thought about just posting once per week but, would that really keep My Girly Parts going?

So at this point, I don’t know how much my schedule is going to change-up but I do know it will. I will have less time for blogging and of course, this is that blog that will suffer.

I’m open to suggestions if you have any. I’ll also continue to monitor how my schedule goes over the next month and quite possibly, it won’t be an issue. We’ll just have to see.

Just wanted to keep you in the loop of what’s going on with My Girly Parts. Thank you as always for your continued support!
