Gone are those days where people used to send a message via hand written letters. No, I do not only mean the 160 characters message which we usually send to friends via SMS but the traditional way of sending an invitation or official messages to far distance is been replaced by the digital mode of textual communication called electronic mailing or in short email or emails. It was in the year 2005 when I enrolled myself to a mailing account of RediffMail, this mailing application was owned by Rediff. A brand well known to those who are online. It was the initial time when Google's owned mail , Gmail(most commonly know) when not so convincingly popular.Rediff or RediffMail used to rule the online space along with some other name like Yahoo or AOL etc.
In the early period of the internet there was hardly a chance to compare in terms of experience or flexibility but on 2016 if you ask me to review RediffMail, this is what I will say taking help of my memories and experiences with it, in comparison to other giants like Google and Yahoo.
I am now standing 12 years older in experience to what I was on 2005.Right from the home page I need to search for the button called RediffMail to login in. Well, in early time it was ok as the term email sounds interesting but as Google started up in line at per design RediffMail look way back. The mailing is the only thing I found less managed and mostly overlooked, based on services like Rediff search or e-commerce portal all look better every day from its look and visibility except mail service.Rediff site looks more clutter and all its service put on the home screen.
This is where Google stand apart and one of the leaders in internet segment.
although its free but still the inbox is all bombarded with ads and promotions.
Where you can hardly find your important mail.
Looks more like an ads store.
Since people don't use it much in comparison to other networks to its less talked about now. Over the years it seems boring to newbie onliners.I believe newbie users can hardly recall mailing network call RediffMail, you can guess where it stands.
This is based on my usage and experience related to it this long.
Hope you have a set of experience relate to RediffMail or Rediff, leave your view, it may not match mine but so what I am willing to know what to feel.Leave your opinion in the comment boxFeel free to connect to me and my community on Facebook (search by abhirupsblog)  and @tweetabhirup is my Twitter handle.
