Why Starbucks is Every Bloggers’ Salvation…Especially Us Travel Bloggers

By Kenin Bassart @Constantramble

It’s no secret that we here at The Constant Rambler love coffee. I find it necessary to function and essential to a happy day. This is one of the reasons that I adore Starbucks. Since becoming a blogger though, my love for this company has grown and now I find that they have become a necessity to my travel lifestyle.

Giant coffee

We love our coffee

Starbucks has two things that are essential for every bloggers’ life…caffeine and wi-fi. Grabbing a venti cup of heaven and sitting down to get some work done is always easy to do here. Sometimes we encounter hotels that have very slow internet service or ::gasp:: hotels that charge for wi-fi access, and then our best option is to find the nearest Starbucks and set up shop. We seem to do this often enough where we have managed to acquire a gold card so refills on regular brewed coffee are free and we earn free treats every couple of purchases as well. I’d rather pay three bucks for a cup of coffee and free, fast wi-fi than pay ten bucks at a hotel for wi-fi that is slow and disconnects me every twenty minutes.

Venti Starbucks

Big enough to fuel a great blog post

We travel all over the country for great cups of coffee. Starbucks might not have the very best cup we’ve ever had, but their consistency in making a good cup every time will keep us loyal. Throw in the extremely friendly service, their customer loyalty program and the free wi-fi and you have two very happy travelers. We are on the road full-time and a Starbucks is almost always close at hand. It’s a great place to grab a pick me up so we can stay awake on long journeys as well.  Did I mention that we love coffee? It seems another cup is right on our horizon at all times!
