It’s a beauty sin not to remove your makeup before hitting the sack. Many women usually overlook this important step because of plain laziness! Admittedly, I’m sometimes one of them. I’m currently using Nichido Moisturizing Makeup Remover. It’s very affordable for only Php 198.00/100 ml in Watsons. Plain soap and water won’t remove waterproof products such as mascara which leads me to try makeup removal products. The packaging says it is “unscented, effective, moisturizing and non-greasy makeup remover that easily and thoroughly removes makeup from the face.” It also claims to leave skin soft, smooth and hydrated. I find it oily after application so I still cleanse my face with facial wash and water.
I also find Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes effective especially if I left my facial wash somewhere and I want to remove resistant makeup and impurities on my face and lids. I no longer need to wash my face after using this because it doesn’t make my face greasy. The one from Glam Works only costs around Php100.00 at Watsons. I highly recommend you bring a stash along in your makeup kit for emergency quick cleaning.
