When One Door Closes, Many More Open

By Bren @Virtual_Bren

You know the old saying “When One Door Closes, Another Opens”, I prefer to think MANY More Doors Open.

When One Door Closes, Many More Open
I have contemplated closing the door on My Girly Parts for longer than I can think, but I keep bringing it back to keep it going. My Girly Parts is much more than this blog. It’s a Community. A Community of Women who don’t mind sharing their thoughts with one another and we accomplish this in our Private Facebook Group.

However, the blog aspect of My Girly Parts has lost it luster with me. We have talked about everything under the sun and I’ve bared my life and soul on this blog. But sometimes it can be too much. Too many memories of bad times that are better left in the mind and not on a blog.

What I’m trying to say is My Girly Parts has run its course and will cease to be in 2015. I’ve thought long and hard and decided it’s time to let it go; however, I will be keeping our Facebook Community alive.

I won’t stop blogging though. I’ve decided to start a brand new blog with a little bit of a different focus. When the new site launches in 2015, you will see some of my favorite posts from My Girly Parts there, but the new content will be more humorous and geared more towards mid-life.

My new site is called Just Like A Fine Wine.

I already have a Facebook Page for it if you’re interested and if you go to the website, you will see it’s currently in Maintenance Mode. However, you will also see a space to Subscribe so you know when the site will launch!

Launches January 2015!
Launches January 2015!

I’m really looking forward to my new adventure and hope you are as well. I’d like to thank each one of you for your continued support in sharing and commenting on My Girly Parts, as well as those wonderful people who Contributed to it.

This isn’t the end of my journey, a new adventure starts in January 2015! Hope to see you there!
