Fabio will be revising the menus of all Tony Macaroni restaurants, starting with Queensferry Road, Edinburgh, which is the Group’s eleventh restaurant and due to open later this year. Thereafter the new menu will be rolled out across all other branches of Tony Macaroni.

“Fabio and his team are overhauling our dishes to ensure that everything we serve is as authentic as possible. We know our customers already love our food but we also know that there’s always room for change and innovation. Having one of the world’s best Italian chefs creating new dishes for us and tweaking some of our classics to make them completely authentic, will ensure we offer customers the genuine taste of Italy without having to go to Rome”, said Tony Macaroni Group boss, Sep Marini.

For over 15 years, Fabio has been one of Italy’s most well-respected chefs and his wide knowledge of the country’s cuisine has led him to work not only in restaurants but to become consultant chef for RAI, Italy’s main television channel. For the past two years he has also hosted a new show, ‘My Italian Recipes’, every morning on Italy’s Channel 4. Fabio is considered one of the world’s leading experts in food design and has worked on several Hollywood films’ food scenes including Mission Impossible 3 and Eat, Pray and Love, and on TV series Rome and The Borgias.
