I featured this product on my October Faves list and I mentioned this was honestly an impulse buy. I was just passing time at Beauty Bar and ogling at various makeup when I suddenly remembered that I cannot buy any more cosmetics! So I then walked away from the shelves carrying makeup and explored the skin care section, which I don’t normally do. I noticed they don’t offer a lot when it comes to toner, at least in the branch where I went to. But the curious cat in me spotted this attention-grabbing SO TOTALLY CLEAN toner in an instant! With a font that big, it’s hard to miss. Naturally I picked it up and inspected it. I don’t know about you, but this brand Formula 10.0.6 is so foreign to me!

I was hesitant to buy this at first, but I felt that I spent a whole lot of time inside the store already and the SA was very accommodating, that it doesn’t seem right to just walk away. So there goes my Php545.00! Plus, I bought the NO TIME TO SHINE Oil-absorbing Mud Musk (Php120) also from the same brand. I haven’t tried that one yet, but it also looks promising! Anything that will make oil on my face disappear is a must-try for me. Let’s just hope it works, I’ll keep you all updated.

Yes, you read that right, it’s a cleanser and toner in one. I’ve been using this for the past few weeks and already I noticed a slight improvement on my face. The active ingredients such as sea kelp, cucumber and chamomile made my face more refreshed, hydrated and clearer. But in terms of its promise on “reduce oiliness”, my overall facial routine could also contribute to the lesser oil production on my face lately, so I don’t want to give the full credit to this product alone.
It doesn’t sting at all, unlike my previous cleansers/toners where my face felt burning sensation and my cheeks turned red. The direction at the back even states that this is safe for use around eye area!
What really sold me to this is the alcohol-free part. Toners that contain harsh ingredients like alcohol can dry out even the most oily skin.
