I have been playing games for about 15 years now and have grown to love some games and to hate others. now what is it that makes a game great? is it the graphics? The story? or perhaps the music?

Well, That\u00B4s a subject that many argue about daily on Youtube for example. And that is a thing i cant stand. I hate to read the typical fanboy comments like \"Bf3 sucks, CoD is the only way to go\" or \"Gtfo CoD Faggot\".
Back to the subject. Now this is my personal thoughts on what make a good enjoyable video game
- There has to be a story! preferably one that i can somehow relate to the main character
- There has to be a feeling of achievement and self expression. For instance getting to build something ( Minecraft is one of those games )
- The gaming environment must feel alive. Not just a linear map
- Choises, Choises, Choises. I want to choose the way i play
- Customization. Everything from controllers to graphic settings to Character appeareance should be somewhat subject customization.
In some games you just get the feeling that someone just spit this game out without any thought being put into it. For instance the game Big Rigs. I mean seriously WTF. If you haven't seen the game then good for you, Here is a review from the youtuber guardine
