When summer comes I want loose, breezy, and preferably natural fibers. I took a risk with this Michael Stars top as their Large is supposedly an 8/10 and their 'Samba' color looked like a brick red. I was psyched to find this 100% cotton top is not only plenty big for my size 14 busty self but the color is a vibrant orange-red color! Unlike the off the shoulder top in this post, this neckline is elasticized and can be off the shoulder, off one shoulder, or worn up. Here I'm wearing it with a pair of girlfriend jeans, but this weekend I also wore the top with a pair of old beat up denim cutoffs. It's not a top for figure flattery, but in the dog days of summer, comfort and coolness trumps a whittled waist!

Lately, my everyday lipcolor is Revlon's Rich Girl Red, a sheer warm red that is glossy and goes on more like a tinted balm. I found putting higher pigment bold lipsticks over it helps make the color less intense but they stay on longer than when putting over a balm. Adding Bobbi Brown's Lady Ruba over it gave me a stronger pop for this look, but it doesn't feel heavy or cakey.
