What I Wore: From the Hip
I don't think I've featured this bag on the blog yet though I've had it for a while. This is my concert bag, my music festival bag, and an all around great bag to have when you want your hands free but carry more than what can fit in your pockets. Black leather, two clips to attach to your belt loops (I've even clipped a detachable purse strap to it to make it a crossbody). The front is a flap pocket, but there's also a zipper pouch that has a few interior pockets to store cash and cards. It can hold my phone, a portable charger (I love this one, it's pretty and has a built-in charging cord), lipstick, ID and cash, keys, sunglasses, and even a snack without worrying that I'll lose my bag or need a place to hold it when heading to the facilities or when my hands are full. The specific one I have is this, which is sold out, but this one is similar (and a similar low price) and this one is a similar concept without the stud detail.

It was so cold and windy the day we took these photos we rushed through the shoot and I never got a good shot of these insanely awesome earrings from ASOS! As I got older, my metal allergy got worse to the point I couldn't wear heavy or non-Sterling earrings. However, when I cut out most red meat my allergy subsided. Just in time for a season where statement earrings are a hot trend! These are so cool, the backs of the earrings have their own dangle portion and each time I wear these strangers stop to ask me where I got them. Not heavy and under $20!

Thursday night was the VIP party to celebrate the ELOQUII store opening in the DC area and it was awesome! Those who follow my InstaStories saw the behind the scenes. It's so exciting to have a gorgeous store full of well-made, fashionable plus size clothing. Big well-lit fitting rooms (even had heels for trying on with dresses), a staff of stylish women who know the line, the store feels upscale yet so welcoming. And Thursday night, it was full of incredibly fashionable plus sized women having fun with fashion. I bumped into CeCe from Plus Size Princess who came all the way from NYC to check out the store; her post has a great video of her fitting room experience and some of the clothes she tried on. I bought this top online, but did get a great dress at the store event that you'll see on the blog in the future!
