Confession: It has been 4 weeks since my last blog.
Ay, dios mio!
Mea culpa!
Je suis désolé!
Okay, enough of that. Let’s get started.
First stop: Valentine’s Day. The gentleman and I went out for a lovely dinner at Orsay on 76th and Lex: a french brasserie serving up un menu prix fixe magnifique! One is expected more than happy to wear a big ol’ dose of pink on this festive day, so that’s just what this girl did.

I played up a conservative sheath dress (Ann Taylor, similar here) with some suspender tights (Pretty Polly) and high platform pumps (Steve Madden.) After all, V-day is just as much about sex as it is love. [Insert winky face here.] I kept my makeup flirty with matching pink lips and winged eyeliner.
Pink dress, pink lips, pink nails, pink martini.
Next Stop: Birthday celebrations! The cold New York weekend had me draped in faux fur. Friday night, we kept it casual at Bounce Sporting Club on 21sts and 6th. I threw on my favorite jeans (J. Brand) a baby-pink top (H&M, similar here) and a white faux fur vest (TopShop, similar here.) I completed the outfit by slipping into some latte colored ankle booties (similar here) and carried an over-sized bag. (Hobo International, similar here.)

[Vegan] Leather, Lace, and [Faux] Fur by jfeakins86 featuring a fur vest I donned my faux leather leggings (Zara, similar here), white silk and lace blouse (Dolce Vita) and a gray faux fur vest (Ann Taylor, similar here.) The outfit took me through the day and into the evening, where my beau and I had a wonderful date at Sparks Steakhouse.Look at the size of that menu!
And that’s all she wrote! Hopefully, next time you won’t have to wait 4 weeks before the next post. Until then!
