It’s true, I already have the regular version which I received from myself for xmas! I’m such a thoughtful guy like that. But, now I regret that decision just ever so slightly, because I really want this leather bound version available from Moore & Giles. At $65 it is admittedly significantly more expensive than the regular version ($19 from Amazon), but I just feel that it would look so much better alongside my leather bound copy of Charles Barker’s “A Gentleman’s Companion”.
This is a beautiful and educational book with fantastic illustrations by Chris Gall. Jim Meehan does such a great job pulling together all the pieces of the cocktail making experience and the added Criff Dogg recipes at the end are a real treat! In either of its forms the book is well worth adding to your home library, the leather bound version just adds that extra touch of class.
