What I’m Reading This Week

By Cheerfulegg @lioyeo

It’s pretty funny what people get up to during a long commute. Some people watch Korean dramas. Some people play Candy Crush. Some people sing and play the guitar. I’m weird, so I read articles. Like lots and lots and lots of articles.

There’s just way too much knowledge out there, and I figured it’ll be a total waste if I didn’t share what I came across with you. That’s why I’m starting a new series of posts called What I’m Reading This Week, with articles fresh off the blogosphere that I thought were awesome. Here’s a list of what I came across this past week (or two):

Living With Less. A Lot Less. (NYT) But also see: It Would Be Great If Millionaires Did Not Lecture Us on ‘Living With Less’ (Gawker)

How You Can Benefit From All Your Stress (HBR)

Is There Life After Work (NYT)

Investors Should Ignore Economics & Politics (The Big Picture)

5 Steps Entrepreneurs Should Take To Get More Done (Forbes)

Singapore’s Lessons For An Unequal America (NYT) But also see: Joseph Stiglitz’s Singapore Is Hardly The One I Grew Up In (Quartz)

How To Be THE LUCKIEST GUY ON THE PLANET in 4 Easy Steps (James Altucher)

Annnnddd just for fun, my friends from Ministry of Funny asked if I wanted to be part of a speed dating video spoof, so I said yes:

The folks behind MOF are great friends of mine and they’re awesome. You can follow them on Facebook here.
