I am officially seventeen...whoo! I can't believe I am actually seventeen, I still feel like I am twelve, haha. I had a very lovely birthday surrounded by my dear family and friends. I thought I would share with you all the items I received as gifts, seeing how popular my previous What I Got For My 16th Birthday post was! It feels like nothing has changed since I turned seventeen. Every year I go through 'getting used to' phase where instead of saying I am seventeen, like I am supposed to, I end up saying I am sixteen on accident. It happened when I turned fifteen, sixteen, and even fourteen.
Well, I slightly lied previously when I said I feel nothing. I am getting old, sooner or later you will be seeing me at the Dermatologists office trying to get a face lift....lol, jk. When I turned sixteen I was totally ok with the fact I am getting old, not like eighteen or twenty, I mean like sixty and seventy. Getting wrinkles is not bad one bit, I like to think of it as if each wrinkle is a tally mark for experience. I don't know why I am talking about this, but it is something that lurks in the back of my mind around my birthday. Like they say, I am in the generation of the grandmas with the winged eyeliner.
