What Have i Forgot?

By Tootie2208

How often have you asked yourself  “what have I forgot?”.    A week before your wedding, you ask yourself again, the same question, but all you have to do is have a check list system.   The best check list system I know is to have these;  (stored in a word press or similar )

  1. A wedding planner.
  2. A budget planner.
  3. A count down planner.

Keeping good records is the key, to an organized wedding.    A good wedding planner is full of steps and guides, and you will be able to have all your contacts such as the caterers and florist,  their details, your order details, and prices.   There should be sections that covers guest lists,  seating arrangements,  menus,  gift registry, to name a few.

There are beautiful wedding planners in bookshops these days,  so if you are having a wedding  journal/planner ,  use a soft lead pencil until final decisions have been made.

You may find things may change and you dont want scribbles all over your journal.   As soon as final arrangements have been made and are solid, gently rub out the pencil and write in your favorite pen.

A budget planner is a must , for two reasons, firstly if you dont do a costing estimate you wont know how much to save.  Secondly if you dont stick to your budget and what is on your list you will find you have over spent, and bought things maybe that was not on the list.

The count down planner is another must, and by using one of these you will save walking in circles doing one thing and then re doing it again simply because you done it  the first time to early.  Your planner will give you an idea when to ie; choose and order flowers, book the photographer.  Following a countdown planner will remind you about different issues you need to tend to.

You can see by having the help of these planners it can answer the question of what have i forgot?  Having ticked off your chores on these lists, you then can rest easy as you have not forgotton to do this.

LAST MINUTE THINGS THAT DO GET FORGOTTON

  1. Sunscreen, a must have on hand item if you have a summer and especially a beach wedding.
  2. Insect repellant,  You dont need a fly buzzing your face in the middle of your out door service.
  3. Needle and thread, small pair of scissors , a couple of small safety pins ( a must if you are not dressing in your home), you never know when some stitching may come adrift.
  4. Band aids, remember every one has new shoes.
  5. If you have forgotton something do not panic, it must have been not important otherwise you would have remember.
