What Anticipatory Computing Means for Mobile & Location Marketing: Expect Labs at Digital Summit Atlanta!

What do anticipatory computing and marketing have in common? Marsal Gavaldà, our Director of Research, will connect the dots between these two fields on May 20th at Digital Summit Atlanta. The event draws speakers working in the many areas that overlap with digital marketing, including UX, content marketing, social media, and digital advertising. We’ll be in great company: Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, technology writer David Pogue, and many other luminaries will be in attendance!

Marsal heads up research here at Expect Labs, and his discussion will center on the many ways marketers can apply contextual awareness to their work. His talk, “What Anticipatory Computing Means for Mobile and Location Marketing,” will be held during the Mobile + Location Marketing session of the event. Attendees will walk away with a clearer sense of contextual and anticipatory computing technologies and how they can be applied to location-based marketing strategies. The presentation will explain how the proliferation of sensor-laden devices enables contextual technology to provide users with highly personalized digital experiences. Gavaldà will also pinpoint the main products and players in the field, the effect it’s having on mobile marketing, and much more!
