Weekend Walkabout / Sundays In My City: Inspiration

It’s Weekend Walkabout over at KB’s Room and Sundays in My City at Unknown Mami’s.

Did you ever have a thought swirling in your head for a really, really long time?  Not knowing quite what to do with it?  I’ve had something nagging at me for years actually.  It started when I was the PTA President at my children’s montessori school — oh… about 11 years ago.  I started a Pay-It-Forward program.  It worked minimally but it worked… afterall, we were talking about kids here.  I’m one of those people that sits and thinks, often getting lost in my ideas and blocking out the noise around me. I feel the need to do something in this world.  I feel the need to share my positive voice and make a difference to someone who needs it.

This week as I sat and watched life literally blossom around me, I decided to let myself blossom… and I went live with LoveRally.org! LoveRally is a creative outlet where people can come together with the single purpose of making life happier for another person. It’s really that simple! Just like a yawn is contagious — so is a smile.

Try and think of the feeling that you get personally when you are around positive people — you become happier and more positive yourself. You start looking at life differently. That is the idea behind LoveRally. A bunch of like-minded people spreading love, good-will, compassion, happiness, and positive thought.
