Wedding Wednesday #2

Wedding Wednesday #2

I have had a fair few entries so I will try and tackle as many as possible! I also am trying to make them short and concise but if you want more information, feel free to email! Today's question is:

"After booking the venue, what comes next?"

Set your budget, then consider what is most important to you and your fiancé. If you want a Vera Wang you may not be able to afford gold leaf roses (why would you, but you get my point). You have to choose what is most important to you. If you want to blow most of your budget on a fantastic photographer and only spend £400 on a wedding dress then do it. Don't compare your weddings to others, do what's right for you and your other half.

At this point, you will also have some (even if its microscopic) idea of what overall look/feel you want for your day. Whether its Victorian Gothic or cowboy themed, direction is good. You can then start looking at certain suppliers that will help achieve your look. From stationers to bakers, there really is something out there for every kind of wedding.

Read magazines, read blogs, read books. Gather your inspiration and get ready for next weeks question...

(today is our 6 year anniversary, you know, the one of our first date, although I think its a shame this number means nothing now that we are married we are going to be celebrating...any excuse!)
