Wedding Details

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

We are getting so close, less than a month! Today is my shower and I am so thankful that my maid of honor and Scott’s family threw me one. I am excited to see everyone and eat the delicious brunch they have planned. I have seen so many blogs go into every teeny tiny little details about their wedding, not this girl. A few recaps here and there, this is only the third post on the blog about it! We are keeping it pretty small, immediate family and close friends.

My goal is to share some of the fun details of our upcoming day, Pinterest has been the best thing ever for wedding planning! So many great ideas. A few we have incorporated:

Color Inspiration, Orange and Blue

Lots of small details of orange and blue, the table runners, Scott and the best man’s shirt and tie, bridesmaid dress, flower girls dress, cake decorations, invitations, and the programs

Photo Book as Guest Book

This is really popular right now, I have seen this at the last 2 weddings we’ve been at. Funny that we had our ordered before we even went to those weddings!

Want a guest book you'll actually look at again? Create a photo book of your engagement photos for guests to sign.

Invitations, Program, Menu

I am very thankful that I knew enough about photoshop to make these, I purchased templates from Etsy and changed layout, fonts and design. Our invitations WITH postage cost less than $80 dollars. Favorite part of all the printed items, our very personal thank you message on the back of the programs. We spent a lot of time writing this and wanted to include who makes our lives so amazing.

Invitations. Made with templates from Etsy. Customized colors, text, fonts.

Wine List

Having good wine was really important to us, along with great local beer. A lovely printed wine list to sit at the bar so guest know their options. I do still need to make this frame, but it shouldn’t take too long.

Cork boards I made to hold the wine list for the wedding

Cork Card Box

Using this as our inspiration my mother in law and Scott’s aunt are making something similar, can’t wait to see it finished!
