As they are based in New York, up until the wedding, I had only had contact with Cat and Stuart by email and Skype. however, when I met them on the wedding day, I felt I had known them for ages. I couldn't believe that Cat had organised everything for their wedding at the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton from another country! The venue looked amazing with its Moroccan themed rooms and amazing sculptures throughout the gardens. Its the second time I have been to the Crazy Bear this year. The whole day was a lovely affair. The guests had an amazing time and it seemed like a very intimate venue. I always aim to capture as many natural or reportage images as possible and the guest quickly relaxed and forgot I was there. I love the fact that the bridesmaids also delivered speeches on the day. There were some great stories with lots of laughs and a few tears!
The Crazy Bear not only has amazing decor but great grounds and Cat and Stuart took a little while on their own for a few portraits but mainly to have some time together on the day. The venue feels very cosmopolitan but you soon remember just how into the country that you are. As always, the photo booth was super busy in the evening and this got all the guests ready for the dance floor. Cat and Stuart may live in the US but its obvious that they have amazing friends and family back in the UK. I hope you enjoy this preview of their amazing wedding at the Crazy Bear!
