Yahoo Finance reports that Twitter announced today that it’s monthly active users rose from 302 million to 304 million.
Who are these new users? Here are three guesses.
1. Writers trying to get Twitter followers by following other writers back. (None of whom will ever have an actual conversation with each other) – 1 million
2. People late to the party who want to follow latest news on Mitt Romney on this new Twitter thing everyone is talking about. – 500,000
3. People who will not turn their settings to private and have a public conversation that will lead to their arrest. -500,000
