We’re Moving!

Hi guys. How’s the Thursday’s treatin’ ya?

Guess what?!?! Yesterday my Dad signed the lease on our new {and much bigger} office.

We’re Moving!

Yes… it’s right next door to a crossfit box! Holy intimidation every time I go to work!!!

Our new office is great, it’s so much bigger and has storage inside. Right now our office is split up into two separate buildings that are right across a parking lot from each other. Now, we’ll all be in the same place and everything will be so much smoother.

Mom and I spent almost 2 hours in it last night cleaning. I swept the entire thing! It took an hour and a half.

For fun I googled how many calories a 165 pound girl burns while sweeping for so long… it’s almost 400 calories! Who knew sweeping was such a great workout?

My family is going on a week vacation, with Max (of course) and we leave next Wednesday. My Dad wants to be completely moved before we leave… AHHHH!

I’m heading back over to the new place to help clean after I post this… YAY for sweeping.

Last night’s Fitness!

Well since I did so much sweeping I decided to cut my 4 mile run into a 2 mile run. Then I did my

M-Wod

4 rounds (for time) of:

  • 30 situps
  • 30 back extensions
  • 10 pushups!

I can tell I’m getting stronger because I never could have done 10 pushups 4 times. And I did them all… boy style.

Dinner

Max and I did the M-Wod and run together and after I had a major craving for Chinese Food Takeout.

We went to the local Chinese Place, Golden Star and ordered our dinner.

But we were so so so hungry that we couldn’t wait and ordered a humongous bowl of hot and sour soup.

It was really tasty but made my intestines a little gurgley. I had 1 bowl while we waited for our food and I had another once we got home with our eats.

Such a great meal after a long afternoon of high intensity sweeping.

I’ve always wanted to eat my Chinese food right out of the carton! It’s on my bucket list.

I never get to because we normally order Chinese food family style and everyone has bites of everything. I told Max he couldn’t have any of mine and I hoarded my entire carton!

I ate my Mu Shu with some plum-hoisin sauce drizzled over the top. YUM!!!

See… I look all friendly with my Mu Shu but really I’m like a dog with a pig’s ear. Don’t try and take it from me if you value your life!

Max said he felt like a caveman eating his Mongolian chicken… he kinda does!

Clean eating and Tummy Troubles

So my intestines have been pretty iffy since starting Clean Eating on Monday. And they aren’t getting better. Last time I cleaned up my diet I felt funny but by day 4 my intestines were awesome.

I skipped breakfast this morning and went with some Awake Tea and soymilk. I’m guzzling water like crazy.

So I decided to read the 17 Day Diet book again… because it’s what I did last May that really worked and I realized that reading the Paleo book last weekend really messed with my clean eating rules that I got from the 17 Day Diet. I don’t like linking myself to any fad diet or way of eating but it’s what worked for me last time. I can’t run 13.1 miles with my tummy acting the way it is. So I’m going back to basics and doing what works! No red meat for a while, no carbs after 2pm, low sugar fruits. And lots of probiotics!!!!
