An opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Heating Engineer to install fully funded boiler replacements in residential properties under the ECO campaign. You will be experienced in working on all types of domestic gas appliances and controls and in locating and rectifying faults. This is a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months however, this may be extended.
Principle Responsibilities:
- To attend pre-determined appointments to conduct a technical survey to identify and pre-install requirements or issues
- To install a replacement boiler to manufacturers specifications and guidelines
- To identify any issues with the customer’s existing heating system that may affect the installation taking place
- To identify materials required in order for the installation to be completed and to liaise with suppliers
- To conduct a risk assessment to address any on site health & safety risks/issues which may hinder the installation taking place
- To supply the customer with a clear understanding of all works to be carried out and any alterations to their property
- To install a replacement boiler to manufacturers specifications and guidelines
- Demonstrate an understanding of customer care ensuring a courteous approach is adapted at all times
- Ensure all administration tasks are performed in line with company procedures
- Strictly adhere to company health & safety procedures at all times
Key Experience/Qualifications:
- Must be Gas Safe registered
- Must hold core domestic gas safety CCN1, CEN1,CPA1
- Previous experience of conforming to Gas Safety Installation and Use Regulations

Additional Information:
Working hours are Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 6:00pm. A full driving license is required as the role will involve travel in and around the North West area. We offer a high earning potential based on a price paid per boiler install.
