Watch Dogs or the stylized version WATCH_DOGS is an upcoming open world action-adventure video game, developed by Ubisoft Montreal. We know Ubisoft Montreal by their work on the Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed franchises.
“Hacking is our weapon”
WD is set set in an alternate reality version of Chicago, Illinois. Chicago, like many other cities features a supercomputer that known as a “CtOS” (Central OperatingSystem) that controls the massive data stream from almost every piece of technology in the city.We will be the anti-hero Aiden Pearce, a highly skilled hacker who uses both “fists and wits” to take down the corrupt system.
“There’s no mission and no objectives”
We saw one video at E3 but Sony brought us a brand new one showing Aiden chasing a bad “man” (I hope they can come up with better things than abusing, bad men and victimized, good women) and making his escape, using the tools\skills at his disposal.
Watch Dogs was the biggest surprise in E3 and is pretty much the biggest source of excitement at the moment after GTAV. We are on the lookout for more material from the game. When we have it, you’ll have it.
