Watch: World’s First Fully 3D-printed Gun Firing First Bullet

It doesn’t look anything like a real gun, but at least it works. And also has a cool name.

Cody Wilson’s The Liberator is made entirely out of plastic. That doesn’t make it a toy for kids because this gun fires real .22 rimfire bullets. And apparently it works. Cody’s company, Defence Distributed posted a video of this gun in action, making history firing its’ first bullet. It was a success.

Many people have different opinions on the subject of 3D printed guns because obviously it’s hard to trust a gun made with plastic. However, this could be a breakthrough in weapon technology, and could also be very useful if developed as non-lethal guns. That’s my opinion, what did you think?
