Columbia Pictures has released the first full trailer for the upcoming RoboCop movie. And, the Internet is already savaging this movie. Some say it's a huge pile of garbage while others say it ruins the original franchise because the new RoboCop has been improved go more tactical in a black suit and he also has one human hand. Well, I think movie makers these days feel the need to make everything modernized to fit in with the current audience. Old fans get furious about these small things in the beginning but in the end after watching the film, they end up liking it. That's what exactly happened with the Man of Steel.
I've been a huge RoboCop fan as a kid. But, the times have changed. To be honest I think this trailer looks pretty good. I don't like the black suit but we have to expect some changes when something gets adapted into the big screen. Check out the trailer and see for yourself.
Here's what the plot says -:
"In "RoboCop," the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before."
RoboCop heads out on February 7th, 2014.
